Make Braces Fun for Your Child

My dentist recently suggested braces for my daughter, and I want give her a straight smile she will thank me for when she is older. When I told her she needed braces, I received the groans I expected. Especially because her orthodontist told us that traditional braces were best for her. I started working on her attitude by showing her pictures of the fun colors of elastics they now use on braces and the fun new artistic retainers they make. I told her she could change colors for each holiday and that she could match her outfits. I knew it was working I saw a small grin when she was looking at the photos that she quickly tried to hide. I created this blog to help other parents struggling with children who are less-than-happy at the thought of needing braces. If I could improve my daughter's attitude about them, then you can too!
